The Simon Julien Suite is a specialist residential care home for men with a dual diagnosis of mild to moderate learning disabilities and mental health needs, including those with forensic histories. There are five bedrooms, two kitchens, two bathrooms and a balcony, overlooking a quiet residential square.
The Simon Julien Suite opened in April 2016, after extensive refurbishment of the building. It can accommodate five service users and has a dedicated staff team who provide 24 hour support.
The service is named after Simon Julien, who was a very popular Activities Coordinator at St Martins. Simon had an exceptional ability to engage hard-to-reach people. He brought compassion, laughter and enjoyment into the lives of vulnerable and isolated people. Sadly, Simon passed away in December 2012, and we are proud to name this service in his honour.
