Summer Fair 2023

The Summer Fair was a fun and festive event that brought together residents and staff from our services. The fair, which took place on July 14, 2023, at Whittington Park in Archway, London, was organised by our staff at St Martins.

Despite the rainy weather, the fair featured a variety of activities for residents, such as karaoke singing, reciting poems, football, piñata game, raffle draws and many more that our residents and staff enjoyed to the fullest. The indoor nature of the fair allowed residents and staff to have a friendly atmosphere, the opportunity to socialise and have fun together.

The event was a great opportunity to showcase the incredible growth and talents that many of our residents share. Ben and David from Chalkhill Road service recited their poems, providing an inspirational insight into their stories of mental health recovery. Paul from New North Road service and Hasan from Wilton Square service had a wonderful time with karaoke singing their favourite songs. It was great to see the community engagement and integration which would tremendously help our residents in their recovery journey and development towards independence.

St Martins would like to thank everyone who attended this event and all of those who played their part in organising the summer fair, which gave our staff and residents a collection of blissful memories with happy vibes and cheerful community spirit.
