St Martins Staff Conference 2023

The Staff Conference 2023 was a resounding success, with over 50 staff members from head office and across all our services. The conference took place on July 28, 2023, at The Lift, Islington in London.

The conference featured presentations that focussed on the new vision for St Martins towards excellence in the next 5 years from our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members. Our CEO, Paul Hardisty went into detail about the new vision for St Martins and how the organisation is aiming towards fulfilling the new goals in the coming years through various initiatives and action plans.

The staff had the opportunity to be part of the guest speaker session from Pamela Leonce, who extensively spoke about her recent report on the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within residents and staff in St Martins.

Our SLT members, Beth Haile and Kathryn Evans also organised an interactive session for all our staff where they got the opportunity to have a look at our recent survey results and come up with relevant ideas and plans for each of their respective services.

The feedback about the conference from the staff was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their appreciation for the opportunity to network with colleagues across different services, ask questions to our SLT members and guest speaker as well and enjoy the food & drinks offered to them.

St Martins would like to thank everyone who attended this event and all of those who played their part in organising this conference, which showed a passionate community spirit in the organisation among staff and their excitement towards St Martins’ Road to Excellence in future.
