Our history

St Martins set up and registered as a registered social landlord by the Catholic Fund for the Homeless and Destitute in 1980.

In April 2001, Capital Housing – a charity supporting young homeless people – merged with St Martins.

St Martins, whilst proud of its roots, is an entirely independent and secular organisation. The Catholic Fund continues to support St Martins by providing resettlement grants to service users moving to independent accommodation.
