Floating Support

We offer Floating Support services to people who have been resettled in local authority or other housing association accommodation to help them sustain a tenancy and living independently.

We have a Floating Support service based in Hackney and Islington called Youthlink, which is aimed at young people that have moved on into permanent housing.

In other boroughs, such as Islington, Hackney and Newham, St Martin of Tours provides a Mental  Health Floating Support service, helping vulnerable adults with mental health needs who require short term (up to 2 years) housing related support in order to successfully maintain accommodation within the community

The work carried out with clients include visiting people in their homes and assisting clients to maintain tenancies; helping clients to find appropriate education and training; and arranging social interest groups for social skills building.
